In a world where we live fast and focus on the more physical concepts of existence, we must stop and take a moment for ourselves. Knowing our inner self, soul, spirit, and awareness of our inner power helps us find our magic and happiness in the heart. From this reflection arises the collection of illustrations, “Mystical Spirits,” which has the function of helping me to visualize my thoughts more recognizably, allowing me to get to know myself better and highlight my inner magic. Mystical Dragonfly is the visualization of my self-awareness, a reminder to live in the moment and enjoy the ephemeral’s magic.
The dragonfly spends most of its life as a nymph; when it reaches maturity, it only lasts about two months. Although her time is limited, they live it intensely, so they symbolize and exemplify the virtue of living in the moment and making the most of life. Dragonflies are aware of their limits; we can learn from them and end those illusions we have created and have a clearer vision of real life. There is magic in every discovery; the greatest is self-discovery. Enjoy it!
There is still more we can learn from this creature. Dragonflies can see 360 degrees around, and even if we can’t, we can apply an uninhibited vision of the mind and see beyond our limitations. This is our power to go further and discover the magic of personal growth at every moment.
